About No. 1

Before the cork comes out

What does London dry mean on a gin from Yorkshire?

It is a method, not a place: every botanical goes into the still together, nothing is added after distillation except water, and no sweetening at all.

Is it the same every time?

Close, but not identical. The lemon thyme and rosemary are our own and change a little with the summer, so each run’s number is on the back label with its picking date.

Can I taste it before I buy a full bottle?

The 5cl size is £6 and posts with any order, or try it neat and long at a Saturday tasting at the distillery.

Is it vegan and gluten free?

Yes to both. It is distilled from English wheat spirit; distillation removes the gluten, and nothing animal-derived touches the bottle or the label glue.
